KAYAKING IN TIGRE + TREKKING IN THE ISLAND
DAY ACTIVITY NAVIGATING THE DELTA AND DISCOVERING ITS ISLANDS.

Would you like to paddle a kayak through the streams and canals of the Tigre delta and then explore an island full of oak, araucaria and cypress trees?

The activity starts in Tigre very close to the train station coming from Retiro. We will prepare the kayaks and we will make an introduction with everything you need to know to handle the boat.

We will paddle for 2 hours through streams and canals until we get to the Rama Negra stream, where we will leave the kayaks and do a 5 km trekking at a relaxed pace exploring the island.

All this, with a delicious lunch included on the island!

The whole activity has little difficulty and no previous preparation is needed. At all times you will be assisted by our team of professional guides.

Planned itinerary

Although we make every effort to adhere to the itinerary described below, the itinerary is subject to change for numerous reasons beyond our control, including weather and terrain conditions.

K

Kayak

The activity begins at mid-morning where we set up the boats and teach the basic notions of maneuverability and safety in the aquatic environment.

Then we take to the water in shared kayaks to explore the planned route as a group with the permanent assistance of the guides.

After approximately 2 hours, we will disembark in the Rama Negra area to have lunch, rest and then start the 1 hour trekking at a relaxed pace.

Once the trekking is over, we will board the kayaks again to return to the continent in the afternoon.
